Restrictions on the delivery of parcels to the USA and Canada

For each international postal item, the Sender fills out the CN23 customs declaration, which indicates a detailed description of the attachment, its value, and the sender and recipient data.

• Parcel (USA) – maximum parcel dimensions: up to 120x60x60 cm. The maximum bulk weight for delivery by courier should not exceed 65 kg. The bulk weight is calculated according to the formula: L x W x H, cm / 5000. Example: A box measuring 120x40x60 cm (120x40x60/5000 = 57.6 kg) is allowed for shipment. A box measuring 120x50x60 cm (120x50x60/5000 = 72 kg) is not allowed for shipment because the bulk weight is more than 65 kg.
• Parcel (Canada) – maximum parcel dimensions: up to 120x60x60 cm. The maximum bulk weight for delivery by courier should not exceed 30 kg. The bulk weight is calculated according to the formula: L x W x H, cm / 5000. Example: A box measuring 120x30x20 cm (120x30x20/5000 = 14.4 kg) is allowed for shipment. A box measuring 120x30x60 cm (120x30x60/5000 = 43.2 kg) is not allowed for shipment because the bulk weight is more than 30 kg.
• Bulky parcel – any measurement cannot exceed 200 cm. The sum of the length and the largest perimeter (circle length) in any direction (except length) cannot exceed 300 cm (for the USA, the bulk weight must not exceed 65 kg).

• When receiving a parcel in the USA and Canada, its actual weight and bulk weight are determined (the number of units of bulk weight is calculated according to the formula: (length, cm * height, cm * width, cm) / 5000). The cost of delivery is calculated based on the greater of the actual and bulk weight.
• When filing a CN23 declaration in the USA, the material from which the attachment is made must be indicated, for example: children’s toy (wood) - 1 pc. - $10; shirt (polyester) - 2 pcs. - $10.
• In the USA, it is prohibited to send aerosol products, medicines, nutritional supplements, and food products.
• In Canada, it is prohibited to send products in aerosols, as well as food products, except sweets of long-term storage in factory packaging, with a total weight of up to 2 kg.
